Taking classes online minimizes face to face interaction but an advantage may be its convenient. You can log on from where ever you are.

  2. some of the adventages of taking class on online is that you can go at your own time and at your own pase. and the disadvantage if you are more of a hands on learner and need more one on one contatct with intructor to further break things down for you it wouldn't work out.

  3. The advantage of online classes is for individuals that due to their day to day obligations cannot attend regularly scheduled classes, it gives them the flexibility of working on their own times. The disadvantage is the lack of interaction with the instructor and classmates which many times can make a class easier to comprehend.

  5. Online classes are very easy and fast to take; you could be doing your work while you are studing, but by personal experience it is very easily to get distracted and eventualy you may get bored of it since you dont get personal contact with anybody in the class. (martinez)

  6. taking class online is both an advantage and disadvantage. according to the persons life style he/she should choose that one that best fits into their schedules. for example a person who is always working comes of better by taking online classes. when it come to a young student just starting college should take regular classes so that they can interact with other students and learn more.

  7. Some advantage are that u can take the class on your time u dont have to meet in a class room, for people who work it good. Also some disadantage are depending on what kind of learner you are can effect the grade you get. Finally there can be alot of distraction at home

  8. One advantage that come with taking an online class is you can work at your own pace, and when you have time. You aren't required to show up at a certain place/time everyday. A disadvantage is you may be more likely to blow it off since no one is there to make sure you do it.

  9. The advantages of online classes for individuals is that people can have full time jobs and families and still be able to log in online whenever they want take classes to better their lives and futures. The disadvantages for myself are I am a procrastinator and have to go to class and do work if I don't I make up excusses of things that are more important and have to get done before my school work.

  10. I don’t belive that there are too many advantages and disadvantages to both side cause learning is still learning. The only advantages to online would be about time constraints and luxary of staying home or campusus being to far from home. The disadvatage is for people like myself who are more of a hands on and are social butterflies. (Lazaro D. Perez Jr.)

  12. There are plenty of advantages for online degree programs. People who dont have much time in their lives due to work or family can still pursue an education by taking online courses. They can make their own schedules and work at the pace that they like. A disadvantage could be if someone isnt motivaed enough, they could get lazy and just put off the work and it can pile up on them and then they might not have enough time at the end of the online semester to get everything done in time. Also, i dont believe you get the support you would get if you were actually going to a college or university.

  13. I, personally, have never taken an online class. I'm not sure if they're any more expensive, or any cheaper than taking a class in person.

Online classes are usually for those who can't make it to campus. Most people have families or jobs that take up most of their time. Online classes provides those individuals with the opportunity of balancing both their personal lives and school at their own pace and schedule.

There is still email/chat access with your professor and other students, so asking questions and participating shouldn't be too much of a problem. Also, if you have to leave town, for whatever reason, having an online class enables you to log on from anywhere and still participate and not miss out.

  14. One thing that can be an advantage would be time. If you work and cant make class you can go on your own time online. you also dont have to stack everything to the point you were you dont have time for anything. Some disadvantages are you dont get to have the face to face help you would get in a class room, and you might not have the attetion span to sit on the computer and do the work.

  16. Advantages of studying online are being able to study on your own schedule. It provides you with the flexibility of more time for work and/or family. But of course, like everything, it does have its disadvantages. Some people work better when they can have a one on one level of discussion with their professor over something they didn't quite understand about the lecture. I know that's the kind of person I am!

  17. I believe that it is a personal choice. Not everyone can read a book and understand the information being presented. I personally like to have an instructor to explain a theory or idea when it simply doesn't click. There are advantages and disadvantages for online degrees. Disadvantages include not having an instructor to answer your questions immediatley and wasting time waitng for a response. An advantage is you can fit it into any schedule.(William Murphy)

  18. One of the advantages of online classes is that it has flexible hours for those who work full time and can't make it to class. The disadvantage of online classes is that if you struggle on a certain subject for example; mathematic the student will have a hard time in an online math class then as oppose to a regula on campus class because he has the aid of a proffesor in a physical form. 19. Taking classes online has its advantages:
You can learn as you go. There is no need to go to class, you just log-on from where ever you may be and complete your assignments.
    There are also some disadvantages:
No interactions with other students and the teacher. Exams are sometime more difficult since questions are taken from the book and not a mixture between lectures.

Taking online classes is good for people that can't go to class.
Well in my case I don't like online classes. It just I'm the type of person that likes to ask a lot of questions and I really need a professor for that. I think that at home t is so many distraction.

  22. A benefit that is taking an online class is you aren't required to show up at the classroom every day. A disadvantage is you don’t get to have face to face with a professor that can help you. Marcus Grandi

  23. The advantage of taking a course online would be that you can take a class without having the chore of actually having to be physically present. The disadvantage has to be the fact that there are more distractions when you are not in a classroom with an instructor, also you may need to ask questions but wont have a person to voice yourself to.

  24. There are many advantages but where students have to be careful is if a convenient way to learn for him, not everybody has the discipline of learning on-line and is taking the risk of wasting time and money.leidyquintana

i am not a big fan when it comes to the online course ,yes the advantages maybe, working at your own pace and not ever being late to class plus it saves time in your day plus gas money .,but to me the disadvantages are not getting that full understanding about the work. another disadvantage is if you dont have a computer at home it would make it hard for you to complete class work
